On the afternoon of May 19th, the 35th National Day for Helping the Disabled was held at the Pingshan District Disabled Persons' Service Center in Pingshan District, Shenzhen. Shenzhen Tongwei Love Charity Foundation attended the event and launched the "Qilin Youth · 'Tongping' Soaring" - Pingshan District Disabled Children Empowerment Project 2025.

"Qilin Youth · 'Tongping' Soaring" - The 2025 Pingshan District Disabled Children Empowerment Project has been signed by the Shenzhen Tongwei Charity Foundation, Pingshan District Civil Affairs Bureau, and Pingshan District Special Education School, forming a tripartite cooperation agreement. As one of Tongwei Charity's "Drip Water Assistance for the Disabled Project" initiatives, it innovatively adopts the "Party Building Guidance + Charity" model and has been implemented in Pingshan District Special Education School. Special invitation has been extended to Huang Yaohua, the inheritor of the Guangdong Provincial "Intangible Cultural Heritage" project - Qilin Dance, to guide the establishment of Qilin classes and Qilin special training camps for Pingshan District's special children, promoting their diversified development.
In an interview, Long Xiaojing, the Deputy General Manager of the company and the Director of the Tongwei Charity Foundation, reviewed the development history of the foundation's public welfare and educational assistance. She stated that in order to meet the needs of the times, the foundation is actively promoting a transformation in public welfare efforts—shifting from cross-provincial educational assistance and volunteer teaching to localized and in-depth initiatives. In 2025, the "Drip Water Assistance Project for the Disabled" was launched, focusing on supporting the educational development of disabled children in the company's local area. "Public welfare is like giving children a piece of candy, while education teaches them how to grow their own sugarcane grove," Director Long emphasized. "We hope that through specialized training such as Qilin dance, special children can feel the care and warmth of society." Finally, she called on caring enterprises and social organizations in Pingshan District to jointly participate in supporting the development of disabled children.
