On the eve of the International Children's Day in 2025, the Tongwei Charity Foundation organized 27 caring volunteers to form 9 volunteer teaching teams, which were dispatched to ten Tongwei Hope Primary Schools to celebrate the festival with the children and convey warmth and care.
The campus was filled with a festive atmosphere, with colorful flags fluttering and balloons adorning the surroundings. Children were dressed in their finest attire, their faces beaming with bright smiles. During the celebration, the heads of various condolence groups extended festive greetings to all teachers, students, and parents. Through various practical actions, the foundation provided festive support and encouragement to the children: distributing "Flower Project" grants worth 120,000 yuan to 183 primary school students; "Young Seed Project" grants worth 198,000 yuan to 99 junior high school students; "Protecting Seed Project" grants worth 65,000 yuan to 26 high school students; distributing 2,794 jackets worth 391,160 yuan to the children; and presenting 291 sets of the "Five Thousand Years of Chinese History" series to outstanding students, worth 23,280 yuan.
On the day of the event, the condolence group also held a discussion with school teachers to gain a deeper understanding of educational needs and explore support plans. Volunteers visited students' homes and conducted on-site visits to further convey the care from society. The foundation will continue to gather caring efforts in the future, pay attention to children's growth, and help children pursue their dreams.
